IfATE is responsible for representing employers’ opinions in England’s skills system. They ensure that apprenticeships, T Levels, and higher technical qualifications are of good quality, current, and designed according to what employers need to fill skill gaps. They work with around 7,800 employers at any one time to help create new apprenticeships, T Levels and higher technical qualifications, and to review those that already exist to keep them up to date.
