Not to be missed

The flagship apprenticeship conference for apprenticeship employers & providers

AAC is recognised as the flagship national apprenticeship conference for employers and providers. It is the must-attend apprenticeship conference of the year.

AAC will occur during a critical period for the UK as we emerge from the pandemic, steer through a challenging economic situation and learn what our new government has planned for apprenticeships.

In the run-up to this year’s conference, we can expect plenty of discussion around policy and funding changes to the apprenticeship system.

AAC 2023 will provide a timely and essential gathering for those involved with the design & delivery of apprenticeships. AAC is designed for Further and Higher Education Providers, Local Authorities and Apprenticeship Employers.

Plenary sessions

Over two days, delegates will have access to four 90-minute plenary sessions. Plenary sessions bring together AAC delegates for high-level talks and discussions.

Delegates can expect to hear from government ministers and lead civil servants, who will use the conference to provide essential updates. Sessions will also include representatives from the world of apprenticeships during thoughtful and insightful debates.

Plenary content will include quality, funding, technology, assessment, policy and development. Further information about our plenary sessions and speakers will be published from December 2022.

Workshops

AAC workshops are intended to provide delegates with essential updates and ideas. Over two days, there will be 60 workshop options, all lasting 50 minutes.

Workshops are curated in partnership with key organisations and individuals working within the apprenticeship sector. Workshops will be provided by government departments and agencies, colleges, training providers and employers.

Workshop listings will be published from December 2022. A call for workshops will be issued in September.
If you are interested in providing a workshop, please get in touch with the team.

Don't miss the apprenticeship event of the year

Lisette MacCormac Director of Quality, The JGA Group

The AAC is the only conference I always attend. Quality of speakers, workshops and the opportunity to network with likeminded people make it a never-to-be-missed event.

Steve Worall Apprenticeship Delivery Manager, Serco

The AAC2022 this year was a real privilege to attend, it left me feeling inspired and encouraged to really drive the quality and performance of my team. The variety of workshops on offer allowed individuals to gain some real insight into making their apprenticeship offering the best it can be. Thank you so much for such a great event

Katy Dorman Apprenticeship Strategy Manager, Norfolk County Council

The AAC Conference and Gala Dinner was a fantastic opportunity to hear from a vast range of speakers to really get a good feel for the current and ever-changing apprenticeship landscape. I particularly enjoyed the honest and passionate approach from many of the speakers, which encouraged reflection and discussion during and after the event.
