Karen Bailey is Head of Competence Development at Volvo Group UK which has over three hundred apprentices currently on programme. Coming from a strong retail back ground across numerous sectors Karen believes that the key differentiator in business is the people you employ and train at all levels in the business – including apprentices.  Her particular focus is around aligning partnership with business requirements to ensure business gets what it needs out of the talent apprentices bring.
