James joined Pearson in 2013 having spent over 15 years working in the sport, leisure and fitness sector in a range of roles within professional and sector skills bodies, and funding agencies engaging with leisure and fitness organisations, governing bodies of sport and trade associations.
From the governance of county cricket, to workforce development solutions for fitness chains to the funding of 2012 Olympic Games volunteer programmes, James has engaged with an eclectic range of programmes, organisations and individuals over the years.
In his time at Pearson, James has worked in the UK stakeholder relations team, the global employability unit and more recently is a member of the BTEC & Apprenticeships senior management team.
