Emily Jones is Head of Research at Learning and Work Institute, responsible for leading research and development projects to ensure they make a positive difference to policy and practice. Emily has more than 10 years’ experience in the adult learning and skills sector and leads Learning and Work Institute’s programme of work on apprenticeships and technical education. Her recent research has focused on levy paying employer decision making, widening participation in apprenticeships, and increasing the take up of higher value apprenticeships in disadvantaged areas.
