Apprenticeships Manager, City & Guilds
Bill is an accomplished Vocational Education Specialist; experienced Strategic Director and hands-on practitioner with over 20 years’ experience in the training and education sector.
In the 16 years Bill worked for Semta his diverse accomplishments include securing high-level agreements with major organisations and government, the establishment and provision of outstanding apprentice training to degree level, responsibility for National Occupational Standards, and the negotiation of multi-million pound training and project funding. Bill is fully conversant with STEM projects from primary school level to universities, many incorporating a wide range of industries.
In his current role as Senior Apprenticeship Manager for City & Guilds, Bill is responsible for the development and maintenance of City & Guilds’ current apprenticeship offering as well as leading on the changes from SASE apprenticeships to the Trailblazer apprenticeships following the government reforms.
City & Guilds is currently recognised to deliver end-point assessment (EPA) for 17 occupations. We are working with providers and colleges to establish a supporting role for them going forward.
